The founder of Foodie Flashpacker was inspired to create Gay Digital Nomads from his own experiences as a LGBTQ+ business owner and digital nomad.
“Recognizing the lack of resources tailored for LGBTQ+ digital nomads, I set out to bridge that gap and provide a dedicated space for our community,” Nathan Aguilera noted.
The mission of Gay Digital Nomads is to create a supportive and empowering online space for the global community of LGBTQ+ Digital Nomads that supports the power of connection, diversity and passion for adventure.
For example, Gay Digital Nomads features an in-depth travel guide filled with advice and tips on everything from LGBTQ+-friendly destinations to co-working spaces and much more.
The website also offers articles on refined nomadic living – including how to choose ideal accommodations and restaurants, mastering the art of packing for the modern gay digital nomad and a curated list of destinations that celebrate LGBTQ+ individuals who have embraced the digital nomadic lifestyle.
Gay Digital Nomads also features a Community Hub, where members of the LGBTQ+ community can connect and offer support while enjoying the opportunity to network.
“In the Community Hub, visitors to the website can connect with like-minded individuals, share their experiences, and celebrate the unique variety of LGBTQ+ stories from around the globe,” Aguilera said.
